Current Responsibility

J.D. Davis is the managing principal of the Milliman Southern Region Employee Benefits Practice (SEB). He has management responsibility for the employee benefits practices in Dallas, Denver, Houston, and Atlanta. He also maintains management oversight responsibility for Milliman’s employee benefits technology group (Benefits Resource Center) and participant call center (Benefits Service Center). The various groups total 250 employees and account for more than $45 million of annual revenue.

J.D. is also a consulting actuary and relationship manager, working directly with key clients on the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of a broad range of qualified and nonqualified retirement programs.

Experience

J.D. has presented to numerous groups and professional organizations concerning the current methods available to employers for providing optimal retirement programs to employees. His writings on retirement topics have been published in periodicals and textbooks.

An integral participant in the development of Milliman’s capabilities, he has served on and led various national committees focused on system design, best practices development, and firm wide oversight.
