Joe Schonbok
Joe leads the applications development team for Milliman's Seattle Employee Benefits practice. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, overseeing programmer staff, writing program specifications, and programming. He joined the firm in 1993.
Experience
Joe has extensive experience designing and implementing Windows-based applications for internal and external use. He is responsible for designing, building, and testing database applications for Milliman benefits outsourcing practices. System functionalities include tracking participant requests, pension calculations, web-based health and welfare benefit elections, check writing, bank/trustee interfaces, and premium collection. Joe also assists in the design and implementation of other web-based solutions for our clients.
Joe has additional experience in defined benefit valuations, as well as defined contribution record keeping and health and welfare enrollment.
Joe currently leads a team of programmers supporting in-house and external system development and maintenance.
