Current Responsibility

Samantha is a data analyst with the New York office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2016.

Experience

Samantha has a broad background in community health and management, having worked in several countries worldwide where she examined healthcare quality and access.

At Milliman, she has worked on a variety of projects including supporting awardees of the Medicare Bundled Payment for Care Improvement (BPCI) program and the Oncology Care Model (OCM). She has also analyzed details of costs and resource use associated with specific disease states as well as cost/benefit evaluations.

Samantha also has expertise in using SAS to analyze large health claims databases such as Truven Health Analytics MarketScan® Research databases and CMS' Standard Analytic Files (5%/100%). She has performed statistical and predictive analytics on these databases.

Prior to joining Milliman, Samantha worked as the scientific grant coordinator at a large non-profit organization in New York. Samantha also previously liaised with the New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to analyze data collected in environmental health studies.
