Our guidance is unique to each client’s mission

Every not-for-profit has its unique story, goals, and obstacles. With each new client, we begin by asking questions and developing an understanding of where the organization has been and where it is going. We add value to our services by ensuring that each nonprofit gets custom guidance. Our billing includes straightforward, line-item statements with no hidden fees. Because of our transparency, our clients know what they are paying for—the best possible guidance on their most challenging benefits issues.

Addressing challenges before they become problems

The changes to pension reporting requirements enacted through FASB 158, coupled with the impact of PPA 2006, have left many not-for-profits with significant negative changes on their balance sheets. We are working with our clients to respond to these regulatory challenges. Our team of consultants educates our not-for-profit clients about their choices and benefit alternatives. We provide modeling techniques that map out how these changes may affect future cash-flow requirements and profit and loss impact. Our state-of-the-art forecasting enables fully informed decision-making.

Communication—an important step to implementation

We communicate using clear, engaging examples and visual aids, both traditional and interactive communication tools. For example, we created Webinars to educate our not-for-profit clients on the effects of the Pension Protection Act of 2006. We often take the extra step and present our evaluations and any plan changes at board meetings, as well as educate employees and engage all stakeholders in discussion.
