Client example: multimillion dollar award

Milliman provided expert testimony in binding arbitration between a large property/casualty insurer (Milliman's client) and a policyholder. We worked closely with counsel to model various coverage allocation theories, educated counsel on each of the models' strengths and weaknesses, developed and testified as to our client's own allocation theory, and prepared counsel for effective cross-examination. Milliman's analysis and testimony contributed to the arbitration panel's ruling in favor of our client, saving it in excess of $140 million.
