Regulators have significantly increased the focus placed on unit pricing practices within insurance undertakings. Over the past few years, the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA), the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK and, most recently, the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) have each conducted thematic reviews focused on unit-linked governance.
