Shining new light on European insurance M&A

The public availability of Solvency and Financial Condition Reports for EU insurers allows us to gain new insights into transactions. This article illustrates the sorts of analyses which are possible by looking at a sample of 24 transactions in Europe over the last couple of years across a wide range of EU markets.
