The New York Region Employee Benefits Practice has an opening for a Health & Welfare Actuarial Analyst (Student) in our New York City location.

Responsibilities

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• BA or BS in Mathematics or related field
• relevant experience to include reconciling claims data and projecting future costs, claims reserve calculations and pricing plan design changes
• actively pursuing SOA and /or EA exams towards Actuarial certification
• excellent computer and technical skills
• strong communication skills
• ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
• ability to work on detailed spreadsheets
• ability to work in a team environment

Experience

• 0 – 2 year relevant experience with at least one exam success
