Job description

We are seeking to add a Life Actuarial Associate to our Greater China team. Based in Hong Kong, there will be opportunities to travel in the region, primarily to mainland China and Taiwan. The role will involve a significant amount of financial analysis and actuarial modelling of life insurance business, including providing support to Milliman's pricing actuarial software (MG-ALFA) clients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include supporting Milliman's promotional and research activities in Asia as well as a range of consulting assignments, for example, embedded/appraisal values, US GAAP reporting, product development and asset-liability management.

Experience

• 3-5 years experience

Requirements

• Highly motivated and confident
• At least 3 to 4 years of life insurance actuarial modelling experience
• ASA level or equivalent
• Strong IT/computer skills
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to travel within Asia
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese
• Available immediately
