Milliman, Inc. provides consulting services to a broad array of clients in the healthcare field. We are the leading actuarial consultants to healthcare plans and providers in the U.S., and we have over 2,000 employees nationwide. We are currently looking for an actuarial assistant on a full time basis. Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of an actuarial student include:- Analyzing data and producing reports using spreadsheets and databases
- Drafting written reports and other correspondence
- Assisting with research and marketing projects
- Progress towards the completion of actuarial exams.
Experience
Attributes which are also desirable:- Working knowledge of database applications, Access, SAS, SQL
- Computer programming experience.
Qualifications
The requirements for this position include:- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software
- Bachelor’s degree
- GPA 3.5+
- At least one SOA/CAS exam passed.
