The West Paterson office of the New York Region Employee Benefits Practice is always interested in reviewing resumes for Defined Benefit Plan Consulting Actuaries.

Responsibilites

• Financial management of client relationships
• Consulting services to a select group of clients
• Managing large client projects while working with other experienced consultants
• Interacting with clients on a daily basis and making in-person presentations
• Assisting in training and development of staff

Experience

• Enrolled Actuary designation
• 10 – 15 years of core experience

Requirements/Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience with all aspects of Defined Benefit plans including funding requirements and FAS 87 accounting
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Financial management knowledge and experience
• Demonstrated ability to work in and lead project teams
• Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• High degree of self-motivation
• ASA or FSA a plus
• Multi-employer, FAS 106, or GASB 45 experience a plus

The New York Region Employee Benefits Practice has three locations: New York City, West Paterson (NJ), and Albany (NY). The practice provides a wide range of consulting and administrative services for Employee Benefit plans.
