The Milliman Indianapolis Health Practice and its Pharmaceutical Consulting Group helps leading pharmaceutical companies stay informed about changing market conditions, understand their implications, and optimize strategies and tactics focused on third-party payers. The services offered by our group range from Market Assessment and Strategy Development to Tactical Execution Guidance including Payer Value Propositions, Contracting Strategies, and Pull-Through Strategies. Responsibilities
- Provide statistical analysis of large, complex datasets
- Assist in market research data collection process
- Develop and implement statistical analysis plans to address project objectives
- Produce sophisticated code and sound statistical reports
- Effectively present statistical findings to the consulting team and non-statisticians
- Efficiently work independently in a multi-task environment
Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience
- Degree (Bachelors or Masters Degree) in mathematics, economics, or other quantitative field
- Experience in quantitative analysis with a demonstrated focus in statistics and analytics
- Experience with Microsoft® Excel or other similar software for quantitative analysis
- Experience in statistical analysis and/or regression analysis with SAS, SPSS or other similar statistical software is essential.
- Creative thinkers with finance, mathematics and marketing skills capable of creative analytics – how do they have these skills along with the required degree listed above?
- Experience at pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies and/or consulting firms a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (and PowerPoint)
- Professional presence
- Superior problem-solving capabilities and superior learning agility
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-starter, with a team-oriented attitude
