Current responsibility

Noel is a Principal with the Chicago office of Milliman and is located in Williamsburg, Va. He joined the firm in 1995.
 

Experience

Noel specializes in the design and pricing of annuities and life insurance products. He has worked heavily in the design and pricing of equity-indexed annuities, life insurance products, derivative-based death benefits, and living benefits on variable annuities for many insurers. Noel has also been active in developing recommended state regulations for equity-indexed annuity and life insurance products through his participation on the Equity-Indexed Products Task Force of the American Academy of Actuaries. He currently is a member of the Life Products Committee of the American Academy of Actuaries and is past chairman of the Individual Life and Annuity Section of the Society of Actuaries.

Prior to joining Milliman, Noel participated in the establishment of Glenbrook Life and Annuity Company, which is now a leader in the financial institution annuity and insurance market. He also served as the product and financial manager for the company. His earlier experience at the Allstate Life companies included being product manager for the personal health insurance line and an assignment at the life insurance subsidiary in Tokyo, Japan.
