Adrian started his career as a student actuary with National Mutual Life (now part of the AXA group) in New Zealand. In this role, he was exposed to a variety of actuarial work, including life product support, defined benefit pension consulting, and capital management.

From 1999 to 2007, Adrian held finance director positions with the AXA group in the Philippines and with Aviva in Romania. In the first role, he was involved in a major system implementation project and also contributed to the development of the Philippines' leading bancassurance arrangement. In the second role, he formulated the company's business plans, contributed to the broadening of its product set, and participated in the development of its pensions business.

Since joining Milliman in mid-2008, Adrian has been involved in mergers and acquisitions projects, product development assignments, market entry studies, and statutory reporting work.
