  • Diane is a certified public accountant. Prior to joining Milliman, she worked on audit taxation assignments.

Current responsibility

Diane has been a consultant with the New York Office of Milliman since 1988. While at Milliman she has worked on a variety of consulting assignments in casualty matters, with an emphasis on workers' compensation consulting assignments. Within the workers' compensation area she has specialized in the valuation and cost determination of large and long-term workers' compensation claims, including occupational disease claims using life annuities. She has extensive experience in modeling the long-term payout of claims from most of the major U.S. workers' compensation jurisdictions.
 

Experience

Diane has extensive experience in the development of innovative alternative methods to cost and document large and/or long-term workers' compensation claims in heavy industry settings including the coal industry. She has worked extensively on quasi pension valuations of occupational disease claims in the coal industry, working on valuations from most major coal producers and insuring entities. She has developed commercial software to manage and case reserve workers' compensation claims.
