Ron has over 13 years of experience in group benefits working both as a consulting actuary at large international consulting firms as well as a product development actuary at a national health insurance company.
Ron has worked on a broad range of products including the following:

- presenting health care trends and actuarial analyses to large group meetings and seminars
- calculating premium equivalent rates

- benchmarking plan designs and implementing changes
- calculating reserves, such as IBNR
- evaluating network discounts
- designing and implementing consumer-driven health plans, including HSAs and HRAs
- developing new actuarial and benefit plan analysis tools
His experience includes numerous Fortune 500 and publicly traded clients. He has experience as the lead actuary and project manager for HMO rate renewals, union negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and cafeteria plan design and implementation.
