Current responsibility
Dennis is a consulting actuary in the Amsterdam office of Milliman and joined the firm in 2006. He and his team carry out consulting missions in the Netherlands and Belgium. Prior to this, he worked ten years for Ernst & Young Actuaries as senior manager.
Experience
Dennis has performed a wide range of actuarial consulting missions for a variety of clients, mainly major Dutch insurers. He advises clients in the areas of statutory reserving, including liability adequacy testing, valuations (EEV, MCEV, etc.), and risk management. He also advises frequently on mergers and acquisitions, product development, and asset/liability management. He is primarily a life actuary, but also has broad experience in employee benefits consulting. He is fluent in Dutch and English.
