Joanne's focus has been largely on managed care, with experience in premium rate development, reserving, and provider contract analysis, as well as valuation of post-retirement health and other non-pension benefits.

Prior to joining Milliman, Joanne spent more than ten years with CIGNA, where she held various leadership roles in health care. She also served for two years as the human resources director of the actuarial student program.
