Pat joined the firm in 1978 in the Philadelphia office. He assumed his current responsibilities in December 2001 and is now based in the Seattle office. As an actuarial consultant, he has extensive experience in reserve analysis and other financial projections relating to property and casualty insurance and reinsurance exposures.

Pat served as president of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2001 and chaired the CAS board of directors in 2002. He previously served on the boards of the CAS and the American Academy of Actuaries. He has represented the actuarial profession in meetings with the NAIC, FASB, and congressional staff.
