Sandy is a consulting actuary in the Employee Benefits practice, specializing in defined benefit pension plans and financial reporting on retiree medical and life insurance programs. Sandy works primarily with private sector clients on single employer retirement plans. His assignments include actuarial valuations, plan design studies, development of accounting expense and year-end disclosures, mergers and acquisitions, plan terminations, employee communications, and government filings.

Prior to joining Milliman, Sandy worked in actuarial consulting for over five years at Towers Perrin, followed by three and a half years at Johnson & Higgins and over 14 years at Sedgwick Noble Lowndes.
