Kim's areas of expertise include health insurance and managed healthcare programs. She has extensive experience with rating and underwriting, liability estimates, product design, healthcare reform, experience analysis, and other actuarial projections. Kim also specializes in provider reimbursement strategies, risk-sharing arrangements, and strategic analysis. She has advised various types of health plans (including provider-owned health plans), insurance companies, self-funded healthcare programs, and health systems. Kim also assists clients with Medicare Advantage feasibility studies and bid development.

Prior to joining Milliman, Kim worked for more than six years for two large insurance carriers, where she focused on pricing, experience analysis, and special initiatives.
