Scott's actuarial experience includes pricing, rating, reserving, medical underwriting, hospital contract analysis, and regulatory filings. Recent projects include:

• Part of a team that implemented a small group rating system for a billion-dollar book of business, coordinating rating calculations across eight states
• Assisted a small insurance company in converting its individual product from accept/decline to a banded rating approach based on medical underwriting and risk measures
• Risk adjuster research and development, including the Milliman Medical Underwriting Guidelines
• Part of a team developing the Department of Veterans Affairs Enrollee Health Care Projection Model
• Degree of healthcare management and hospital readmission rate benchmark development and analysis by provider group for a regional insurer
• Contributed to actuarial analysis and recommendations in the development of health reform regulations
