Current responsibility
Stephen is a principal and consulting actuary with the Los Angeles office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2005.
Experience
Prior to joining Milliman, Stephen worked for a leading nationwide physician medical professional liability carrier.
Stephen’s primary areas of expertise include workers’ compensation and professional liability unpaid claim analyses for self-insureds. He also has significant experience in all areas of medical professional liability actuarial consulting services for traditional insurers, risk retention groups, captives, and self-insureds. His expertise also includes the evaluation of excess or reinsurance layers of loss and the evaluation of reinsurance contracts. Stephen has been involved in a broad range of actuarial services and his experience includes many property and liability lines of business beyond his expertise in medical professional liability and workers’ compensation.
