Current responsibility

Steve Lemanski rejoined Milliman in 2006. Prior to joining Milliman, Steve was a principal and consulting actuary with a regional actuarial consulting firm, and an actuarial consultant with Hewitt Associates.
 

Experience

Steve has over 20 years of experience in providing actuarial consulting services to diverse clients, including municipalities, multiemployer pension funds, and Fortune 500 companies. His areas of expertise include the valuation of defined benefit and other postretirement benefit plans, plan design, benefit certifications, experience studies, general administration of qualified plans, and consulting on compliance issues. He also consults on union negotiation issues for corporate and municipal clients.

Steve is the lead pension actuary for numerous municipalities throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island. He is currently the lead GASB 43/45 actuary for the towns of Glastonbury, Coventry, Groton, Weston, Charlestown, and the cities of New Britain, New London, Pittsfield, and Northampton.
