Current responsibility
Janet joined Milliman in 2006 as director of client acquisitions for Milliman’s Southern Employee Benefits practice. She brings to Milliman more than 20 years of multi-dimensional marketing and product development expertise in the employee benefit industry. Her responsibilities at Milliman encompass:
- Business strategy and execution for business development and participant services practice units
- New client acquisitions for defined contribution administration, defined benefit administration, actuarial, investment advisory, and custom communications services within the Southern region
- Identification and deployment strategy for new products
- The participant experience and communications/education curriculum development and delivery
Experience
Prior to joining Milliman, Janet was group vice president at Ameriprise Financial Retirement Plan Services, responsible for acquisitions of large market 401(k) and workplace financial planning services clients. She established the consultant relations strategy, hiring appropriate team members and improving effectiveness with intermediaries.
Janet also served as account manager and consultant for Watson Wyatt & Company, where she was responsible for deployment of consultant resources across the retirement, health and welfare, communications, and systems practices for her clients. She has extensive experience working with communications methodologies and strategies for benefits programs.Education
