Dave is a principal and consulting actuary with the Milwaukee office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1979.
Experience
Dave's area of expertise is group healthcare programs, working with all forms of managed care entities. He has assisted clients with provider reimbursement and incentive issues, capitation targets, efficiency measures, premium rate developments, outstanding liability estimates, new product development, underwriting and benefit design, and Medicare contract analysis. He has analyzed Medicaid issues for state governments, HMOs, and providers and has advised HMOs, PHOs, hospitals, physician organizations, PPOs, state governments, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans on healthcare matters.
