Eamonn has held actuarial roles in both mature and start-up organisations, operating in the domestic and cross-border life assurance markets. During this time he has gained a breadth of experience in financial reporting under a number of different reporting GAAPs. He has accumulated extensive experience of developing actuarial modelling and reporting systems (particularly in relation to variable annuity GMxB business) and is currently very much involved in the ongoing preparations for Solvency II. He also holds life insurance and life reinsurance practising certificates from the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and currently discharges the roles of Appointed Actuary and Reinsurance Signing Actuary for a number of companies, both domestic and cross-border.

At an industry and professional level, Eamonn contributes to the Society of Actuaries in Ireland through his involvement with the work of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and his participation in various working parties.
