Current responsibility

Dan is an associate actuary in the Seattle office of Milliman. He assists clients with valuation and financial planning activities, performs asset/liability matching analysis, and builds MG-ALFA® projection models. Dan joined the firm in 2001.
 

Experience

While at Milliman, Dan has worked primarily on assisting domestic and foreign clients with financial reporting activities. He has also assisted clients with pricing projects. Before joining Milliman, Dan worked as a valuation actuary for eight years. He performed Historic GAAP, Purchase GAAP, and tax and statutory valuations. He also performed cash-flow testing, embedded value, and business plan projections. He managed a valuation staff for a dynamic fast-growing insurance company.
