Current responsibility
Laura is a principal and consultant for Milliman's Southern Region. She entered the profession in 1983 and joined Milliman in 1993. She is a member of the senior leadership team for the Southern Region with direct responsibility for Denver’s Defined Contribution practice.
Experience
Laura's focus is on defined contribution plans [401(k), 403(b), ESOP, profit-sharing, and non-qualified plans], though she is familiar with other types of plans. Over the years, she has been responsible for all aspects of plan administration and consulting, including extensive work in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, compliance, special plan administration needs, and ESOP liability studies.
Affiliations
Laura has served on the board of directors of The Denver Athletic Club and chaired the Employee Benefits Committee. She has supported the Denver Kids Program through her affiliation with the Denver Rotary. She currently serves on Milliman's Retirement Committee and Defined Contribution Task Force.
