Leigh's specific areas of concentration include the regulatory issues, the projection and analysis of experience under insured programs, risk-based capital requirements for health insurers, and the design and pricing of dental insurance plans. Her papers "Principals of Health Insurance Regulation" and "Designing a Managed Care Dental Plan" have been required reading on the Society of Actuaries Group and Individual Insurance Pricing exam syllabus.

Prior to joining the firm, Leigh worked for a life insurance company. There she was responsible for financial reporting and product development for individual life and annuity products.
