Current responsibility

Gary is a principal and consulting actuary with the London office of Milliman. He manages the Property and Casualty consulting practice. He joined the firm in 2001.
 

Experience

Gary specializes in property and casualty insurance. His consulting assignments include reserve reviews for a wide range of Lloyd's syndicates and London Market companies, assistance with commutation negotiations, expert testimony, assistance with the development of captive insurance companies, and premium rating.

Before joining Milliman, Gary spent 14 years at Hymans Robertson as a partner advising clients on a wide range of life and general insurance issues. His last appointment at Hymans Robertson involved responsibility for managing the firm's insurance division.

 

Affiliations

Gary is involved in committee work of the Institute of Actuaries. He is also currently a member of two working parties covering fair value and investments for the General Insurance Studies Group of the Institute of Actuaries.
