Experience
David has more than 12 years of experience in managed healthcare settings of various sizes. His primary focus is financial management, physician profiling, NCQA accreditation, and claims analysis.
As the director of medical economics with Kaiser Permanente, David managed all pricing, underwriting, employer reporting, and other analytical functions of the region.
In 1994, David joined MedSpan Inc. as a director. MedSpan is a provider-sponsored managed care organization originating from the Hartford Health Care Corporation. David’s responsibilities included contracting, NCQA compliance, PHO relationship management, financial reporting and analysis, clinical guideline development, delegation oversight, and physician committee management. He managed 10 PHO Medicare-related risk-sharing relationships.Education
