Experience
Michael assists clients with statutory, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS valuation and financial forecasting. He performs asset-liability matching analysis, assists with and reviews market-consistent embedded value calculations, and builds MG-ALFA® projection models.
Prior to joining Milliman, Michael worked as an actuarial associate at a large U.S.-based multinational insurer. In this role, he worked on experience studies, economic capital, risk management, and corporate modeling. Michael also spent significant time in the international division, assisting the Latin American operations with U.S. GAAP financial reporting, pricing, and product modeling. Michael is fluent in Portuguese, comfortable in Spanish, and conversational in French.Education
