Final Guidance on the FCA’s approach to the review of Part VII insurance business transfers

At the end of May, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published final guidance on its approach to the review of Part VII insurance business transfers. This follows a year after it published a guidance consultation paper on the subject. The FCA received 22 responses to the consultation from a range of industry participants and also provided a summary of the feedback received. In light of this feedback, it made a number of updates in the final guidance.
