The Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2014

The Government of India has taken a major step towards passing the Insurance Laws Bill of 2014. The flagship reform in the Bill is an increase in the cap on foreign shareholding, either as foreign direct investment (FDI) or through foreign institutional investors (FII).
