Atman Thakrar is a health actuary with the Seattle Health Practice of Milliman. His work focuses on Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace and small group pricing, with additional experience supporting analytics related to government programs.
Experience
Atman supports health plan clients with ACA rate development, forecasting, and regulatory filing support. His work includes developing pricing assumptions, conducting model reviews, and translating actuarial results into clear insights to support business and regulatory decision-making. Prior to joining Milliman, Atman held actuarial leadership and senior analyst roles at national and regional health plans. He has extensive experience leading ACA Marketplace pricing across multiple states, supporting Medicare Advantage bid development, and working directly with senior leadership on rate strategy and market performance.
