Stephen A. White
Experience
Steve served as Milliman’s CEO from September 2012 through 2021. Milliman grew significantly in the breadth and depth of services and solutions during his tenure as CEO.
Prior to being elected CEO, Steve served as a consulting actuary. His area of expertise is the retirement field, with particular emphasis on pension administration outsourcing services and actuarial services for large- and medium-sized corporate clients and Taft-Hartley plans.
Steve directed pension administration outsourcing services for single-employer retirement plans.
Steve served as the consulting actuary for several Taft-Hartley pension plans. Steve also assisted clients with the design of defined benefit and defined contribution plans, negotiations on pension plan changes, the valuation of defined benefit plans, experience studies, asset/liability projection studies, and participant communications.

- He participates in workshops and meetings of both the Society of Actuaries and local professional organizations.
- He has served on the Society of Actuaries Examination Committee.
