Magnus is a consulting actuary with the Milliman Life practice based in London. He joined the firm in 2010.

Experience

Since joining Milliman, Magnus has been involved in a wide variety of projects within life insurance and risk. These include statutory valuation work, cashflow and capital model development, and M&A consulting.

Magnus has extensive experience in MG-ALFA® modelling and model development. He has worked on multiple system transformations, assisting clients transitioning from legacy models to MG-ALFA.

He has worked with clients to implement Solvency II, assisting them with matching adjustment applications and impact assessments for PRA data collection exercises.

Magnus actively contributes to the practice's on-going research work, where his focus has been on IFRS 17, helping to understand the implications of the incoming standard for Milliman’s clients.
