Ida Bindea
Ida Bindea is a manager of Milliman’s consulting practice in Vienna. She joined Milliman in September 2020.
Her consulting activities include, among others:
- Automation of actuarial health insurance processes
- Development of reporting tools for health insurance companies
- Calculation of premium adjustments for health insurance
- Actuarial activities related to the annual financial statements according to the German GAAP (HGB) and Solvency II
- Mathematical modeling
- Validation of valuation models
- Data analytics
Experience
Ida worked on various projects for German health insurance companies in the areas of health data reporting, tariff calculation and product development, and assumed tasks with respect to the annual financial statements. For health data reporting according to local regulations, Ida created concepts and procedures for the automation of the reporting process and developed validation tools. Additionally, Ida was involved in the entire premium adjustment process for health insurance. She performed analyses of the actuarial assumptions and calculation basis, the premium adjustment, and prepared the technical calculation reports.
In addition, Ida participated in valuation projects for life and non-life insurance customers.
Prior to joining Milliman, Ida worked for nine years at two actuarial consulting firms in Vienna, mostly in the areas of life insurance and pensions.
In her previous role as a senior consultant, Ida served as a project leader in the automation process for life and pensions. She has experience in life insurance and in the development of mathematical models for the estimation of provisions for social capital.
Ida has also been involved in the development and approval process of a partial internal model for market risk and supported several clients within pricing and risk management in the context of Solvency II.
