Srinu Penubarthi is a principal and software architect within Milliman’s Financial Technology Group. He plays a pivotal role in GridStep products. His responsibilities span a wide spectrum, including spearheading brainstorming sessions, shaping architectural decisions, managing integrating tools, and ensuring successful product delivery.

Notably, Srinu was also involved in a DSM project, overseeing cloud-based development and deployments. Additionally, he takes charge of the architecture, development, and deployment of iOS-based illustration tools like PIP. Srinu not only drives technical excellence but also fosters collaboration and synergy within the team. His leadership extends beyond architecture and development; he actively mentors team members, encourages open communication, and ensures that everyone’s strengths are leveraged effectively.

With nearly 28 years of experience, Srinu has excelled in managing, architecting, and developing software products. Before joining Milliman, he held key roles as Chief Technology Officer and Architect at Danansoft—a startup offering cloud-based solutions for the non-profit industry. Prior to that, Srinu spent six years at TheNextRound, Inc., where he focused on architecting software products and leading testing teams. TheNextRound specializes in comprehensive solutions, spanning back-office and front-office needs—from CRM and portfolio management to fundraising within the private equity industry.
