Most recently, Lennart worked on projects in the life insurance sector, including the following topics:
- Accounting in accordance with local GAAP (HGB), Solvency II, and IFRS
- Preparing reports for internal and external purposes
- Performing initial validation activities under IFRS 17
- Reconciling and analysing balance sheet and customer values and contract indications for portfolio migrations
- Communicating and addressing of actuarial anomalies
- Coding and developing SQL procedures in SAP HANA
- Tariff mapping and data transformations as part of portfolio migrations
- Performing valuation and due diligence in the context of M&A projects
- Implementing new business margin calculations under Solvency II and IFRS 17
- Preparing P&L split by LoB under IFRS 17
- Programming-related further development of tools and automation
Before joining Milliman Lennart worked two years as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH WPG in Cologne and three years as a working student and intern in Berlin and Düsseldorf.
In particular, he worked on the following tasks:
- Annual audits of primary insurance and reinsurance companies, reporting under local GAAP (HGB), Solvency II, and IFRS
- Consulting of life insurance companies with portfolio migration
- BaFin communication
- IFRS consulting
