John's area of expertise is in retirement programs for large corporations, churches and not-for-profit organizations. He specializes in the redesign of traditional pension plans. This includes the conversion of these plans to hybrid plans, including cash balance and pension equity plans.
Client projects have included ongoing plan valuation and administration, expense projections, asset/liability studies, development of simulation models for the redesign of benefit plans, and advising on benefits-related matters in acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers.
John also serves on Milliman's Public Relations Committee and Employee Benefits Steering Committee.
