Ian Miller

Ian has over six years of experience in the actuarial healthcare industry, working on a diverse range of projects, including Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug and Affordable Care Act pricing, Employer Group Waiver Plan rate filings, and provider and network program evaluations. He has experience with actuarial modeling, financial analysis, and risk assessment, leveraging his proficiency in SAS, SQL, and VBA.

Since joining Milliman, Ian has contributed to actuarial statements of opinion, market size studies, and benchmarking analyses. He works with clients to develop data-driven solutions, offering insights into plan design, financial projections, and strategic decision-making.

Prior to joining Milliman, Ian worked at a large national insurer, where he held multiple actuarial roles spanning Group Medicare Part D pricing, individual market pricing for grandfathered and non-grandfathered plans, and provider and network strategy within healthcare economics.
