• Creating multi-year health and group benefit strategies based on benchmarking information, market developments, and financial considerations
• Managing and negotiating administrative fees, performance guarantees, and premium rates with health and group benefit third-party administration and insurance vendors
• Developing premium equivalent, employee contribution, and COBRA rates
• Assessing the impact of benefit design changes or new benefit solutions
• Monitoring and analyzing health and group benefit plan and vendor performance
• Estimating Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) claims liabilities
• Performing calculations related to Retiree Drug Subsidy and Creditable Coverage
