Stephanie Schmidt

Prior to joining Milliman, Stephanie’s area of expertise focused on workers’ compensation claims. She has over a decade of experience in managing, supervising, and handing lost-time and catastrophic workers’ compensation claims. Stephanie was responsible for implementing strategies and initiatives to improve file quality, manage costs, and customer experience. She leveraged data and technology to identify opportunities and improve results.

Stephanie has extensive experience working with complex and long-tailed workers' compensation claims. Since joining Milliman, she is responsible for reviewing workers’ compensation claim practices at third-party administrators (TPA) and insurance companies, independently estimating case reserves on long tailed and catastrophic claims, among many other responsibilities. Some of Stephanie’s clients include employers, self-insurers, TPAs, insurance companies, and municipalities.

Stephanie is a results-driven and analytical claims leader, and she excels in navigating complex insurance landscapes to achieve optimal outcomes. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach, Stephanie leverages data-driven insights to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and maximize efficiency in claims management.
