Sean Silva is a principal and consulting actuary with the Walnut Creek, California, office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2010.
Sean specializes in pricing and development of group health plan coverage, analyzing health claims experience, budgeting and cost projections, contribution rate strategy, analyzing and negotiating vendor rates, and determining claim reserves, self-pay rates, and COBRA rates. He assists clients with strategic planning, benefit design, cost control, and consulting on health and welfare and pension plans.
Sean is currently involved in ongoing consulting with several Taft-Hartley welfare and pension funds.
