Erik Wheeler

Prior to joining Milliman, Erik worked for several years at regional health insurers. His expertise includes commercial pricing strategy, underwriting and multi-state rate filing support, provider contracting analytics, regulatory and legislative impact analysis, and statutory and management financial reporting. Erik's commercial carrier experience includes a wide array of actuarial plan management functions, including reserving and statutory annual statement work, trend analysis, ACA individual and small group pricing, Medicare Supplement pricing, forecasting, benefit plan design, and health product development. In addition, Erik has developed financial models and projections to assist providers in evaluating contractual performance in value-based arrangements.
