
Ken Joyce
Ken Joyce is a principal and consulting actuary with the Life Practice at Milliman. He joined the firm in 1997.
Experience
Ken supports clients globally on financial reporting and mergers and acquisitions. He specializes in statutory and U.S. GAAP financial reporting for clients with operations in the United States, Bermuda, Latin America (Chile), and Asia (Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia). His other work includes statutory and U.S. GAAP valuation and model implementation (including post acquisition implementation of Purchase GAAP), financial reporting process reviews, economic capital financial projections, and cash-flow testing. Ken has also served as the Approved Actuary for a small life insurance company.
Prior to joining Milliman, Ken spent 13 years at a large multiline life insurance company where he held positions in individual life financial reporting, long-term care pricing/product development, disability income financial management, and reinsurance.
Ken has spoken at Society of Actuary meetings, Valuation Actuary Symposiums, and regional actuarial conferences.
