Daniel J. Perlman
Dan is a consulting actuary with the Denver Health practice of Milliman.
Experience
Dan’s experience includes supporting carriers with commercial product pricing and rate filings, financial modeling, risk adjustment, and helping plan sponsors comply with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act. Dan assists clients with understanding the implications of emerging issues in healthcare reform.
His recent work has focused on product pricing for individual and small group plans and dental carriers. Dan has also assisted carriers with financial projections, especially with respect to risk-based capital requirements.
Dan provides conceptual and technical support in the development of Milliman’s Medical Underwriting Guidelines™ and Milliman Advanced Risk Adjusters.
His past work also includes analysis in support of academic research focused on the use and value of pharmaceutical treatments.
