Rachel assists clients with reserve and funding analyses in the areas of medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, general liability, auto liability, property, asbestos, and environmental.
Her experience also includes loss reserving and ratemaking studies for insurance companies in a variety of commercial and personal lines, including workers’ compensation, personal and commercial auto liability, general liability, mine subsidence, inland marine, cargo, and homeowner’s. She also provides actuarial support to state regulators for statutory financial examinations.
Rachel has worked with self-insurers, captives, risk-retention groups, and commercial lines insurers. In addition to traditional actuarial loss reserve studies, she has performed in-depth allocations, conducted loss layer/stratification studies, analyzed excess insurance quotes, created models for client’s internal monitoring, and analyzed liability from pools.
